The Tantrums!

Hollywood Dreams

Wow another busy week in the neighborhood of Fitz Land. We have played what seems like endless shows here in LA, on top of cranking out on the mixes for the up coming full length. I am not allowed to announce the title of the album yet, but that info will be coming to you all very soon.

We wanted to thank every single one of you who attended the LA and Fullerton events we played last week. Many of you attended every single performance and showed us so much love. It is extremly appreciated. We also wanted to shout out KCRW once again for all the support they have shown us as well. Please make sure u guys support this station they are constantly raising the bar with the music they play, as well as being a major part of our success thus far. Also, a special shout out to our peeps over at The Roxy and to Scheff and The Hawk for having us perform for their live podcast event. We had a great time.

We had a chance to play one of the most important private events of our careers as a DIY band. If you follow Noelle on Twitter At all you may have heard a bit about it. ( see flicks below for a hint). Please cross your fingers for us as the out come that can fall from this experience will help our cause in a major way.

I am afraid this post will be lacking in a few memorable moments of our shows at The Echo. So to make up for it I had the gang do a tribute photo session to one of our favorite bands, Devo!

Hope u like um!

Casinos, Pubs & Puma?

Hey everyone- It’s Noelle here, and boy have we been some busy little bees the last few days.

Last weekend we went to visit all of our friends and supporters on the East Coast, performing our first headlining shows in Connecticut (Mohegan Sun Casino) & NYC (Joe’s Pub).

Playing the Mohegan was a pretty surreal experience. If you have never been there before, the place looks somewhat like Disneyland for Gamblers. Tons of retail stores, restaurants, and commissioned art pieces tastefully built within the casinos interior achitecture. The area of the casino where we performed had a stage that resembled a mini version of Red Rocks. I had a blast taking photos with the guys there.

NYC was a great success for us as well. That morning we recorded a live set at The Cutting Room Studios for KEXP which aired this past Monday. That same evening we performed in front of a sold out house at Joe’s Pub. Many of the people that were in attendance told us that they’d heard our live set on KCRW’s, Morning Becomes Eclectic. We also had a few people that had seen our show on previous tours with Flogging Molly and Maroon 5. The word is definitely getting around…

On the home front, this morning we paid a visit to our new sponsors over at PUMA in Los Angeles. My old friend Paul and the staff there treated us to some new goodies over at PUMA’s showroom. Definitely look out for our future content in partnership with them.

Tomorrow, Feb. the 12th we will be gearing up for our next round of Cali performances. If you haven’t heard the news yet, we will be performing at The Echo in Los Angeles on Feb 12 & 19th then on the 23 rd over in the OC @ the Commonwealth Lounge ( Fullerton). This will be our first time playing in the OC, so call up your friends and send them our way. Please check the links below for more details and Ticket information for all of these shows.

Before I forget! If you haven’t heard the announcement on KCRW yet. F.A.T.T will be one of KCRW’s Featured Performers at the SXSW conference next month in Austin TX! (insert applause and smiles here) This is a really big deal for us, that we hope will put us in front of more supporters like you.

Like I always say, we cannot succeed without all of you and your continued support! Please keep spreading the word about us!

Rock The Casbah!

Hello Everyone!

Just sitting here in our challet in France And it just dawned on me that I’d never posted up the photos from our last visit to San Diego. We got to Rock the Casbah literally with our friends Orgone! What an amazing show Orgone kicked ass and so did we! The show was for a holiday party thrown by our friends over at Adrenaline.

Our bassist Ethan and Sax Master James were the hardest working men in show biz that night they’d flown to LAX after another tour overseas, hitched a ride to San Diego with Orgone and somehow managed to play with us and Orgone. They both deserve a Web Pat on the Back for that! Thanks Guys.

Anyway hope u enjoy the goodies! Shouts out to Fanny Franklin of Orgone for her dance battle with Fitzi!

Breaking The Chains Video Shoot

This Past Sunday Me, (Noelle) Fitz and the gang shot what will be the Offical music video for our First Single “Breaking The Chains of Love”. Our director for this video, “Joshua Leonard” (Hump Day and Blare Witch Project) came up with an amazing concept that features Fitz and I traveling around town via Bed Express. He an his team created this fantastic rotating bed for the video, which made for an interesting setting for some passionate happenings for Fitz and Scaggs.

Here are some little eye snacks for you all captured by my trusty iPhone. The video won’t be released till next year but will be well worth the wait!

We Lost Our Monkay in Peoria

So we road off into the mighty moonlight after our wornderful show in Newark Delaware and landed in a town known as Peoria Illinois. It was a 14 hour drive through rain, and more rain, sunshine and a magnificant sunset. We performed at Bradley University in this stunning theater that reminded me of an updated opera house. The crowd was super hype and the ladies seemed to love Mr. Fitz.

On the drive up we were able to capture some brilliant moments on film (or digital whatever you want to call it) for your viewing pleasure. I hope you like what I have compiled for you because these pictures, and video took forever to download, and I would be really sad if none of you fine readers bother to comment or share this tale of wonderous touring excitement with all of your friends and family folk who have never heard of us before. Because I know that they would All like us just as much as you do and we like ourselves to….. I should stop typing now because I’m getting all emotional…. Sorry for my outburst….

So without further ado I bring to you

Fitz & The Tantrums road trip to Peoria!
